Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Inggris UNP Ditunjuk Sebagai Tuan Rumah Konferensi TEFLIN Ke-67

Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Inggris UNP diamanahkan sebagai tuan rumah konferensi TEFLIN ke-67. Konferensi ini merupakan konferensi terbesar di Indonesia tentang pengajaran dan pembelajaran bahasa inggris yang meliputi berbagai topik seperti pengajaran , linguistik, sastra, penilaian, kajian wacana, teknologi dll. Konferensi yang sempat tertunda karena pandemi COVID-19 ini akan dilaksanakan secara virtual pada tanggal 9-11 September 2021.

Tema yang diangkat pada konferensi TEFLIN kali ini adalah “English Language Teaching and Learning beyond the Border: Humanity, Innovation, Technology, and Communication” . Konferensi ini melibatkan banyak pembicara ternama dari dalam dan luar Indonesia seperti Prof. Beverly Derewianka (University of Wollongong, Australia ) , Prof.Jihyeon Jeon (President of ASIA TEFL, South Korea) , Prof.Susan Gaer (President of CATESOL, USA, Prof. Jirada Wudthangayagorn (Chulalangkorn University, Thailand), Dr. Bradley Horn (RELO, USA), Prof. Joko Nurkamto (President of TEFLIN, Indonesia), Dr. Willy A Renandya (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore), Prof. Yenni Rozimela (Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia), Dr. Gumawang Jati (ITB Bandung, Indonesia), Prof. Suwarsih Madya (UNY Yogyakarta, Indonesia), Prof. Ali Saukah (UMKT Samarinda, Indonesia), Prof. Yenni Rozimela (British Council) dan Dr. Subhan Zein (University of Queensland, Australia).

FBS Universitas Negeri Padang Conducts ICLA-6

Faculty of Languages and Arts of Universitas Negeri Padang will conduct an Annual International Conference on Languages and Arts  (ICLA-6). This annual conference is parts of  Dies Natalis Universitas Negeri Padang will be conducted on October 18-19, 2017.

This International conference presents some invited speakers, Prof. Jonathan Newton (Victoria University, New Zealand), Dr. John Yandell (University College London, England), Prof. Emi Emilia, Ph.D. (Head of Pusat Pengembangan Strategi  dan Diplomasi Kebahasaan, Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa), Prof. Datin Rahmah Bujang (APM UM Malaysia), and Ir. Drs. Heldi, M.Si, Ph.D. (Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia).

Dean of FBS Universitas Negeri Padang, Prof. Dr. M. Zaim, M.Hum., and Head of committee, Prof. Dr. Atmazaki, M.Pd., explained that all selected paper in this conference will be published at indexed publisher. For registration and abstract submission can be conducted through http://icla.fbs.unp.ac.id/. The review process will also be conducted through online process. They hope that full paper can be published online before the event.

Prof. Dr. Atmazaki, M.Pd. also told that the committee extend the abstract submission to August 14 2017 and notification of accepted abstract will be announced on August 20, 2017 since there are many presenters want to join this conference. Thus we invite all lecturer, researchers, and teachers who wants to share ideas, experience and research finding in languages and arts to join this conference.
